Agreed that this would be a far simpler/easier place to put your head if working poor or temporarily down - far superior to a tent out in the cold on the street, at least!
In some ways, the US could/should learn from other countries regarding Housing.
I read an post/article years ago about a guy who decided to give up his apartment over the summer and live rough. One thing he said really stuck with me. People recognize the lack of sanitary facilities and it really affects employability. Hopefully the showers are stocked with body wash and shampoo.
