The "Newburgh Crisis" offers insight on George Washington's ambition for kingship, dictatorship...
In a letter Lewis Nicola in 1782 "proposed" that Washington seize power with the military to "establish a strong, stable government able to meet its financial obligations."
Washington answered:
I read with attention the sentiments you have submitted to my perusal. Be assured, Sir, no occurrence in the course of the War, has given me more painful sensations than your information of there being such ideas existing in the Army as you have expressed, and I must view [them] with abhorrence and reprend with severity....I am much at a loss to conceive what part of my conduct would have given encouragement to an address which to me seems big with the greatest mischiefs that can befall my Country."

Nation building propaganda for sure...
Just not the building propaganda of authoritarianism. The rule of a "decider", a cult like authoritarian, a monarch; divine (GOD) is not built, sustained, & maintained by this nation building propaganda.
