This narrative that "Biden cannot drop out as the ballots are already set" stuff is Trumpist nonsense. Neither party has held a convention, neither party has a nominee yet.Trump has been showing a high degree of desperation this week to keep Biden in the race, as the polling shows that BIden is the only potential candidate he can easily beat. Anyone else will trounce Trump.

The funds are already there, they would just be transferred. Biden will not just retire and keep all the campaign funds raised.

I am not "trying to gaslight" you on this. What a bizarre accusation since I cited a ref. Every article I have seen this year both before and after the first debate, about who might replace BIden on the Dem ticket lists Harris at the top. The article I cited was just a typical example. Perhaps we are just not reading the same news sources? Not listing Harris would be bizarre, as she is the VP. Certainly the party has many strong potential candidates, but Harris is always at the top of the lists I have seen.
