#OtD 7 Jan 1919 the Tragic Week in Argentina began. Police in Buenos Aires killed 5 strikers and the city rose up. To crush the rebellion right-wing mobs attacked Jewish areas while troops killed 1-700 people, injured 400-2000 & jailed over 50,000.
