Owl and Woodpecker are neighbours, but not friends. Owl does nothing but complain about Woodpeckerβs pecking, which interrupts his daytime sleeping. The feud between the two gets so big, and the owlβs temper so foul, that the other forest animals try to intercede, but to no avail. Even a pair of hard-working beavers gnawing away at Owlβs tree trunk wonβt get him to move. But Owl has an enormous change of heart when Woodpeckerβs bravery, and his pecking, save Owlβs life.
